Our new 20 day part time program is designed to develop students over a longer period to develop their skillset, knowledge and learn all things barbershop in a barbershop environment. You will be taken on a journey by our experienced Educators with in-depth lectures and demonstrations. Students will work initially on real hair mannequin heads before transitioning to clients, all provided by the Academy, learning the renowned Sid Sottung method of hair design. Our nurturing educators work to develop each student until services can be performed independently.

Aimed at those wanting to be work-ready upon completion, this Beginners Hairdressing Course is the perfect way to start your new career. You’ll be cutting hair on day 2! You’ll also have training on roller-setting, long hair, colouring, perming, client care, shampooing, blow-drying and salon protocol.

Need a day or two to brush up on some skills? We can offer you help and tutoring for any barbering skills you need.

Ideal for those wanting a completely practical Hair Cutting and Colouring Course. You’ll learn the 9 Alan d foundation haircuts along with finishing techniques, shampooing, cutting, styling, blow-drying, client care and salon protocol. After 4 weeks (20 days), you will then move on to a 4 week (20 days) colour class covering basic product knowledge, root coverage, full-head colour, foils, meche & Balayage. You will be taught on both dummy heads & live models.

Our Intermediate course is designed for Barbers and Hairdressers to further their skill set over an intensive three days of training. Keeping class sizes small, our educators will develop your techniques and introduce new methods to further you in your career with daily lectures, demonstrations and practical hands on sessions on up to 8 live models provided by the Sid Sottung Academy. A bespoke course catered to each student, you will leave with an extended understanding of mens cutting and a refined eye to detail.
