Life drawing and painting classes at the Life Room were designed by Paul with the intent to teach from a personal position as opposed to a generic one. He demonstrates how he draws and paints, believing in working to his strengths. Those participating in his classes are encouraged to develop their own style, drawing inspiration from the skills gained during the tutored sessions.

You can chose to come to our venue class, or arrange a class in your home and we’ll come to you! Classes include training for burns, bleeding, fevers, choking, resuscitation, CPR and much more, suitable for parents/grandparents/friends & family give you the skills & confidence to act fast in an emergency babies under 12 months welcome classes in your own home for groups of 4+ evenings & weekends available £25 per person Our classes are great to do if you are expecting your baby, either as a couple, NCT group or with family and friends – the class is suitable during pregnancy. Equally, if you haven’t managed to do it before baby (or you have older babies that you are about to start weaning – or even toddlers that are starting to wonder into dangerous situations) then the class is still a great thing to do. Our baby first aid class will leave you feeling empowered and and prepared.

Blossom babies classes are a welcoming space where parents and babies learn, grow and blossom together. Babies are learning from the moment they are born (and before), whilst parents are busy adapting to, and learning about life with a new baby. At Blossom Babies we understand this process. The combination of sensory adventures, baby yoga, massage, parachute play, singing, signing, and other activities have been carefully chosen with not only your babies wellbeing and development in mind, but also yours as a parent. Each week is a new sensory adventure filled with opportunities for learning. Each activity is clearly explained. We give guidance on reading your babies cues so that you can understand what baby is trying to tell you, as well as teaching simple baby sign language that can alleviate frustration in the early months and years. Our aim is to make the classes, interactive and fun, as well as educational and informative.

once upon a story

Once Upon a Story launched in 2020 in Worcestershire. The aim of the group is simple, let children develop through storytelling and give the grown ups a safe place to enjoy time out of the house with a hot drink and time with their little ones. Each week we will have a new theme and explore a story through music and sensory play. There will be time to enjoy free play for the little ones while the grown ups have a chat and a drink (plus biscuits of course!) We will also celebrate our wins for the week and be a place to support and uplift each other during this crazy adventure of parenthood!

the breastfeeding cafe

The Breastfeeding Café was established in 2010, as a sociable weekly drop-in, where breastfeeding parents could meet and get consistent, evidence-based support from Breastfeeding Counsellors and Lactation Consultants, over a cup of tea. It was funded through Clarendon Children’s Centre for 10 years, until all of Surrey’s Children’s Centres were closed. Since then Trisha, Mary and Jenny have kept the service going voluntarily whilst forming a Community Interest Company. They aim to raise funds so that The Breastfeeding Café can continue to provide the same free breastfeeding support to local parents.
