Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.There are some fabulous painting and sketching locations for plein-air painting around the old Cortijo which is situated 750 metres high in the olive groves. With mountain views and a variety of plants and trees, which include oranges, lemons, pomegranates, figs and grapes. The eco-swimming pool is also a great place to sketch and paint with water lilies, iris, marginal plants and a small waterfall.Locations locally include the Watermill walk at Algarinejo, the lake at Iznajar, any of the local towns and of course further afield in Granada, Cordoba and Malaga.Francesca Wyllie is a very experienced tutor and has led many workshops with groups and one-to-one classes. No previous experience is necessary and tuition can cater for all levels. Many people remember making lino cuts at school and love to revisit the experience. You can this now without a teacher looking over your shoulder. Come to the Colourbuzz studio and have fun getting (re-)acquainted with the tools, make a practise piece that works with a gift tag and then on to what will become your favourite 2022 Christmas card to impress loved ones with. You&#39;ll be printing on coloured card of a variety of sizes and experiment with different colours ink. If you want to use your own design, it needs to be no bigger than 10.5 x 15 cm. If you want, you can send it to me and I&#39;ll print it out in normal and mirror image. Keep it simple though! I&#39;ll have a selection of pictures to choose from as well, so don&#39;t worry if you haven&#39;t sent me one. I will need a minimum of two people to run this course, so invite some people to come with you and we&#39;ll make it a party complete with a festive hot drink! Fire is the crucial element when working with copper, silver and gold.&nbsp;
 Fire alone isn&#39;t enough, so you&#39;ll learn how to prepare, anneal, form and cut copper using a variety of tools and techniques.&nbsp;
 It&#39;s an amazing feeling to transform a flat piece of copper sheet into a three-dimensional piece of jewellery you will be proud of to wear or to give away as a very special gift.
 With your new-found knowledge you will never look at a piece of jewellery the same way again!
 The course lasts around 3 hours and there will always be a kettle on the go.

Marbling is great way of introducing a quick and easy surface technique if you have little to no prior experience. Especially good for students who will get immediate exciting and inspiring results.!
A beginner friendly workshop to produce great artwork for textile projects.

If you want to join in you will need: 
tray of cold water (min 5cm deep)
oil paint 2 colours
white spirit
glass jar and brush to mix/have a cloth for spills and a table cover

This qualification is designed for learners aged pre-16 and above who wish to develop skills and knowledge in creative craft.

This course has been designed to be as affordable for families as possible.
Please note, this is not a GCSE but is a GCSE Level course which is why it is designed to span 2 years, although we offer complete flexibility on the timeframe that learners can complete within.
This qualification is a Level 2 Qualification and is Ofqual approved carrying 15 credits. Other examples of Level 2 qualifications are BTEC Level 2 and the Silver Arts Award. Feedback from our past learners shows that this qualiifcation is widely regarded as level to a grade A*-C/4-9 at GCSE standard when applying for college or work placements.
Please also note, that whether this course is recognised as a GCSE equivalent by colleges and further education establishments, can vary according to location, college and even between courses at the same college. If reliant on this qualification for entry onto another course, it is recommended that you establish with the college whether or not this will aid admission, before committing to the course.

We don't impose any minimum or maximum ages on our learners as we recognise that every learner is an individual and is on their own unique learning journey. We believe, that their adult facilitator is the best person to judge whether a learner is ready for a particular course, but to enable you to make this decision we provide a workbook, free for you to try.
