The course is 3 hours. One item of Material is chosen at the beginning along with a design. Designs can come from imagination, books that are supplied for tracing or images from customers phones can also be chosen. This is then followed by a tutorial and then the customer is ready to go. Tea and coffee is offered free of charge. Customers take home their art work.

All my workshops are available as private bookings for family days. Whittling, Firecraft, Bark Crafts & Bushcraft Activities can all be arranged on a date and time that suit you. Activities can be modified for children of all ages. Travel - All my workshops can be run at any location within the UK. If you have your own space, inside or out, I am able to travel to you to teach. Make an amazing 5' tall living willow sculpture for your garden from freshly cut live willow. Your sculpture will continue to grow for years, simple maintence retains the size and shape whilst providing new deep red withies for you to cut and weave with each year. You will learn some basic weaving techniques and learn about how the willow is grown and processed. No experience necessary, bring a light weight pair of gardening gloves  Plant pot and compost supplied. Refreshments are included.

A relaxed and informal Blackwork Embroidery course in the lovely setting of a converted 18th Century cotton mill in Warwick Bridge, Carlisle. This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past. We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

Get together with friends and family and learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros to make your bouquet and gain lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again.
