Its peony season, Chelsea Flower show is underway and London is in bloom! What better way to celebrate the season by creating a beautiful bouquet of gorgeous peonies. Come join me in the studio at West 16th SE21 where we will learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros. We will be chatting through peony varieties, how to get the most out of them and sharing lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again. The workshop will be held in the studio of West 16th, SE21 who will supply drinks and snacks included within the workshop price.

Join artist Julie Galante for this in-person workshop, where we’ll take inspiration from the historic city of Edinburgh. Participants of all experience levels are welcome for this friendly, small-group experience.  We’ll start with some guided warm-up sketches before moving on to drawing exercises focused on composition, tone, and observation. By the end of the workshop you’ll feel more confident drawing your surroundings, no matter your previous drawing experience.  Please come dressed for the weather, ready to spend time outside. You may also want to bring along a folding stool or a rug to sit on while you draw (there will likely be benches available, but this is unpredictable).  Participants will also need to bring along some basic art supplies:  A sketchbook and/or some drawing paper and board (A4 or larger recommended) Various drawing pens and pencils Charcoal or graphite sticks An eraser Any other favourite art supplies that you may like to use I'll also have some supplies to hand for you to borrow or purchase (please let me know in advance if there's something in particular you need). Computerised Woodworking Course

Bring your own project to work on in the company of other crafters.  Whether you are a knitter, a crocheter, love embroidery or just need to hem a pair of trousers this weekly craft club will make making a little less solitary.  There won't be any tuition from me as such but I'd hope we can all help each other.  There will be a small charge to cover teas and coffees and possibly cake!

Playing with Fire (safely) to create copper jewellery is an introduction into copper smithing where you will amaze yourself by using an age old technique to make unique jewellery.
