Barry Jenkins' tender masterpiece explores the LGBT identity within wider African-American culture, with stunning imagery, sensational performances and a wondrous score. Follow the story of Chiron, a teenager growing up in the Miami ghetto, dealing with his sexuality and drug-addict mother. Professional Perspectives: Andrew Legge + 'LOLA' Screening

Set during World War 2, the film charts the amazing invention by two sisters of a computer that's able to show glimpses of the future. By altering events in the present, the world changes around the two women, as time and space reach near breaking point.
