Why I teach a 2-day Course:  My original training in South Africa was over 12 weeks which covered Reiki 1 and 2 as well as acupressure and Qui Gong. It was through in-depth training, that I formed a richer understanding of energy and how it works. It gave me a deeper knowledge on the mind body connection as well as insight into myself and other people and situations in my life. I also believe the more practical experience you gain with like-minded people, set you up to be more confident as you begin your professional practice. Reiki can be life-transforming if you commit seriously to using what you learn. The more you connect with Reiki and the more skilled you become, the more amazed you will be at its powerful effects. Entry Requirements: Reiki Level 1. If you studied your Reiki Level 1 under a different Reiki Master, please send us a copy of your qualification once enrolled. It is advised that there is a gap of at least 2-3 months between Reiki i and Reiki II. Preparation will be the same for the level one in that alcohol should be avoided up to a week before and caffeine and nicotine at least a day before. Assessment Criteria As part of the Reiki Level II course, you will be required to submit case studies after the 2-day course. The details of how to complete your case studies be given during the course. Once these have been submitted, you will be qualified to Level II and receive your certificate. We begin with a traditional cacao ceremony, run by Giada, Shamanic Teacher, founder of Art and Spirituality and School of Shamanism. This is an ancient ritual that uses pure ceremonial-grade cacao to foster connection, mindfulness, and self-reflection. In a peaceful and sacred space, you'll be guided through a journey of meditation, gratitude, and intention-setting, allowing the cacao to open your heart and deepen your inner awareness. Following the ceremony, we will move a fun and interactive vegan chocolate cake cooking class run by Gloria, Founder of Madebyflour. Using wholesome, plant-based ingredients, you'll learn how to create a rich and decadent chocolate cake that’s both delicious and healthy. Our simple, step-by-step approach ensures you’ll be able to recreate this indulgent treat. This class offers a perfect blend of spiritual nourishment and culinary creativity. Or do you just think it's time to change? This session will challenge the way you think about drink. It's not about what someone else thinks you ought to drink - it's about your own attitude to it. Take away a completely fresh way of thinking about drinking. Get some insights into 'how come' you drink what you do. Find out what you can easily do to drink less. During the session you will have the opportunity to take a fresh look at: Your drinking habits - casual/social drinking, habitual drinking, binge drinking 'How come I do this'? How we think about habits 'How could I change my drinking'?

If online and you wish to receive the cacao bar via mail, material and shipment costs will be applied, otherwise I will suggest where to purchase your ceremonial cacao.  Cacao is a sacred plant for the indigenous people, who call it 'The Drink of the Gods'. This is also the meaning of the scientific name given to the cacao plant Theobroma Cacao (Theo - God, broma - drink). To give the cacao spirit the opportunity to enter the person who takes it, the traditional way is to do it through a specific ceremony. It has been used for millennia by the indigenous peoples of Central America as an essential element in rituals. The Cacao Spirit was considered one of the most important deities in the Mayan cosmovision. In Mexico, the Aztecs considered it so precious that cocoa beans were regarded as coins. Ceremonial cacao is very different from the cacao found in our supermarkets. It is produced by simply cold milling cocoa beans from indigenous plants, after which the beans are lightly roasted and peeled. In this way, the cacao contains all the elements of the fruit in its entirety, including the cacao butter, which in industrial production is immediately separated. Returning to the ceremony, the intake of cacao is a sacred moment to connect with the Divine through a deep inner journey from the heart. Cacao has the property of encouraging a loving opening of the heart, allowing you to listen to the deepest parts of yourself. it is through the Heart that the connection with Heaven, Heart of Heaven, and with Earth, Heart of Earth, takes place.
