Supervising First Aid for Mental Health FAA Level 3 Award in supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF). Award in Leading First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 6. This course builds on the Level 2/5 Award in First Aid for Mental Health and covers a wider range of mental health conditions. Goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition.

Airway Management Airway Management Training Course Three Hours Cost:  £50 + vat per person This 3-hour course will equip learners with the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise on how to manage a casualty’s airway in the event of an emergency. The course is suitable for First Aiders, pre-hospital care providers and those working in high-risk environments. SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered, including: The respiratory system Principles of airway management Airway examination and assessment The airway management ladder Practical training CERTIFICATION Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual throughout the course and issue a non-regulated certificate of achievement where the required level of attainment has been met. NUMBERS A maximum of 16 students can be accommodated on this course. Age limit Learners must be a minimum of 16 years of age to attend the course. This 2 - 2-5 hour course is designed is designed to provide parents and carers with the opportunity to: Develop the basic skills and knowledge needed to deal with a wide range of emergency paediatric First Aid situations, which could arise when looking after babies and children. The course can take place in in a community group or in the comfort of your home, with family and friends who maybe caring for your child or they may have children of their own. The course can be booked during the week, week nights or weekends, with or without children present. The idea is to bring the skills and knowledge to you, in your normal routine.
