CPR is known to buy crucial extra minutes which can ultimately keep a victim in a state of potential successful resuscitation until paramedics arrive. This 3-hour course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for adult, child and infant as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes: safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond. Aims To provide the candidate with knowledge of the core skills that require emergency response first aid which also include the latest protocols from the UK resuscitation council guidelines and skills for health pertaining to Adult and Paediatric CPR & Basic life support ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health  One Day Course Cost:  £75 + vat per person SYLLABUS A range of First Aid for Mental Health related subjects are covered, including: What is First Aid for Mental Health Identifying Mental Health conditions Providing advice and starting a conversation Stress Mental health conditions Drugs and alcohol First Aid for Mental Health action plan First Aid for Mental Health in the workplace CERTIFICATION A Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner must complete the entire course again to re-qualify for a further three years.
