My family of four spent a really nice, relaxing and fun 3 hours in the company of Rachel in her home. We prepared three recipes (the veggie more than 5-a-day) comprising breakfast muffins, veg curry sauce and Mediterranean veg. tarts. All were made using fresh ingredients in Rachels spacious kitchen. My daughter wanted a baking party for her birthday and from the first contact Rachel was fantastic. She offered a selection of recipes and allowed us to choose exactly what we wanted. My daughter Emily, who loves cooking, and her friend Tilly (age 11 and 12) spent 3 hours with Rachel learning how to make lasagne from scratch and also a chocolate fondant desert. They absolutely loved it and the food was delicious too. Rachel was great with them, explaining every step but letting the girls do everything themselves too. A lovely kitchen to spend time in. What a great birthday present!

I spent 2 hours with Rachel at CookSmart recently learning how to make homemade mincemeat and homemade vegetable stock - 2 things I have never considered making myself. This session was such good value for money (I have come home with 12 jars of delicious mincemeat and 6 jars of vegetable stock) and I have learnt so much.
