Compton Abbas Airfield

Great place for a ride out, would've been nice to have had some charge points for EV's but there's a few in nearby Shaftesbury if needed. Great place for a bacon butty and coffee with very friendly staff

A bright sunny day, great views, gentle breeze - the airfield is a brilliant place to visit, sit, eat at the cafe and chill out for a bit. People and planes to watch, a car park full of toys to admire. Food was excellent, decent portions well presented. Loved it and would highly recommend it to folk in the area

I heard good things about this airfield. I made a stop here on a wiser trip. Unfortunately they were closed for the holiday period. Learn from my mistake and call ahead. I'm used to airfields only closing 2 days a year. They have 4G here. Which I can't say for the surrounding area. So thats a plus. I'll be back

Lots of friendly bikers and aero enthusiasts. Refreshments available, although to me £8 a burger seems a bit steep. Fab views en route and awesome topography.

Lovely spot for watching light aircraft coming and going. Called in while on holiday last week in Poole, went in the cafe which was very clean and tidy. Weather was sunny so had a good view of planes taking off and landing.
