Where to Buy Fine Chocolate - Do a bit of homework to find your local craft chocolate makers and the best sources of craft chocolate.
You do not need to buy chocolate to complete this course — it is knowledge-based and can be done without any investment in chocolate. However, you will be encouraged to find sources of craft chocolate as the course progresses. To fully benefit from the learning experience, it’s also suggested that you have some of your regular chocolate on hand for tasting and assessment.
There are two other practical tasting exercises:
For the first, all you need is a chewy sweet or a piece of dried fruit.
For the second, the Melt-Not-Munch exercise (designed to be done with craft chocolate), you can simply watch until you are able to find craft chocolate to try it yourself.
Alternatively:
If you already have some craft chocolate you can use it for the Melt-Not-Munch exercise.
