The Tree-to-Bean & Bean-to-Bar Process – Gain an in-depth understanding of how cacao is grown and understand the role of fermentation, roasting and refining to appreciate the craftsmanship behind every bar.

Where to Buy Fine Chocolate - Do a bit of homework to find your local craft chocolate maker and the best sources of craft chocolate online.
You do not need chocolate for this course, this is a knowledge based course without the requirement to buy a tasting box or any chocolate. One of the aims of the course if to help you identify and find craft chocolate which you will be encouraged to do as the course progresses.
There are two practical tasting exercises, all you need for the first is a chewy sweet or piece of dried fruit. Then you can simply watch the second Melt-Not-Munch exercise and do it in your own time, when you have the opportunity to buy some craft chocolate.
Alternatively
Use any craft chocolate you already have for the Melt-Not-Munch exercise or you could purchase a plain dark craft chocolate bar before the taking the course. As a suggestion, here is the link to the bar I use from Bare Bones Chocolate - 70% Madagascar Bare Bones Chocolate.
