Just attended a six-week throwing course at Claire’s House. Absolutely brilliant time. So much fun and well worth attending ……. Great relaxed environment. Claire took us through the steps of throwing and turning pots then watched over and assisted as we all attempted to throw some clay. By the end of the very first two-hour slot everyone had thrown at least one pot and by the end of the course we all had several beautiful glazed and fired pots to take home. Claire’s House is more like a home! Claire has created a home-away-from home pottery experience that is is the highlight of my week; a place where you can connect with like-minded people, share learning and laughter, and create with the gentle guidance of a wonderful professional. I cannot possibly say enough good things about Claire and her studio and shop. Absolutely and completely delightful and brilliant. Loved the class, Claire was kind, patient and funny. It's harder than it looks!! Would 100% do it again and would like to do one of the longer stints to actually get some skills. Also love the shop - fabulous gifts, I want all of it. Top marks to Claire's House!

Claire is a great teacher and is able to guide us as we create. I loved taking the six week class, learning and creating so many fun items I was able to take home. Can't wait to book drop in times to continue my craft! Thank you Claire :)

Such a beautiful venue. Claire has made it look amazing! I treated myself to some gorgeous festive decorations from the gift shop made by local makers. I can’t wait to book myself into a class to give the pottery wheel a go.
