Claire Elizabeth Ceramics

Recently attended a pottery painting class at Claire’s studio, that I bought as a present for my Mum. We had a wonderful time. Claire was very knowledgable and helpful, and provided excellent tea and biscuits! Highly recommend as something different to do - it was surprisingly very relaxing too!

Eight of us had an amazing time on a special themed pottery party workshop today. Claire was brilliant, helping us all do our unique pieces. I was a lot of work to start from a lump of clay, make a utensil pot, cut out and add our chosen clay shapes, incise shapes and paint the pots ready for firing but we did it! Can't wait to see the finished products. Thank you so much, Claire, we all enjoyed it soooo much!! I'll definitely be booking another pottery party with you.

I joined on a 5 week course and stayed for 15 weeks. Great atmosphere, very relaxed. I learnt a variety of techniques, making several items along the way with guidance from Claire. I would definitely recommend the classes.

Thoroughly enjoying the weekly pottery sessions with Claire. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I’ve really enjoyed getting creative and learning more about pottery. Claire is a great teacher and guides you through the sessions, whilst allowing you to find your own path and create your own items. I’ve really enjoyed discovering this new hobby. Would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing time in one of Claire's classes, carving a clay pumpkin to our own designs, before painting it ready for it to be glazed and fired. Such a great class, Claire was so attentive and supportive, I've never done anything like this before but it was so enjoyable. I'm really thrilled with the final results of my pumpkin lantern and would highly recommend anyone else to take one of Claire's classes!
