Excellent. I was a self-taught guitar thrasher but wanted to learn to play properly. Apart from being a top class musician Chris is also a great tutor so we achieved all the goals I had set myself. We also had a lot of FUN playing along , learning new songs & techniques with occasional chats about cycling & other interests. Top bloke & tutor, thoroughly enjoyable lessons even when done remotely on FaceTime. Definitely recommended

Chris is an excellent teacher. I feel my playing (Classical and eclectic guitar) and knowledge have really improved. Highly recommended.

Chris is a very talented man with infinite patience and a great understanding of the sort of music suitable for individual students. I left it very late to start learning how to play the guitar, but over the last few years have had such fun and improved greatly.

Chris is personable, professional and easy going. I've been learning from scratch for a year now and have improved hugely with both technique and reading music. He mangages to fit a lot in to a lesson, I've been really impressed from the start. It's great to learn with a tutor like Chris who is encouraging, sets attainable goals and makes sessions fun!

Took up the drums around 18 months ago and Chris is my second teacher .... it has been great and i am definitely making progress! His teaching combines some useful and essential technique angles to improve my basics, but balancing practice routines with playing pieces, a good blend. I will keep bashing away - I am currently on Grade 3 and loving it, I am also over 50, but hey why not?!
