Christopher Legg Piano Tuition

Really good piano teacher who helped me achieve grade 7 and 8 distinctions. I am thoroughly enjoying having Chris as a teacher, as he is both passionate and knowledgeable about the piano and music in general. He is also extremely friendly, so I look forward to my lessons with him every week!

Both myself and my daughter have had lessons from Chris for over a year and we were both absolute novices before we started. We have found Chris to be a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and upbeat tutor who is very encouraging and engaging and who is also keen to ensure that we were progressing. He is also very patient (we certainly put that to the test!😀) flexible and professional. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone thinking of taking piano lessons. Chris has taught my son for 3 years, since he was 4, he is still interested and engaged, progressing well, which I put down to his relaxed and easy style. He is patient but gives definite goals as well as being punctual and flexible.

Chris has been teaching me piano and music theory since 2013. At that time I hadn't played piano for about 15 years, so whilst I had a grounding in music, I had to re-learn pretty much everything. Chris has been teaching my elder daughter for over four years now and my younger daughter for almost two. I've been impressed by his patience and his ability to relate to the children. He is encouraging without being over ly pushy and spends time trying ensure that that the girls enjoy their lessons. I've found him very flexible with lesson timings and he had always been reliable. He had an easy going, upfront and affable manner and is always cheerful and positive.
