First negative experience of Dorset after many years of visiting actually. I expect it's a perfectly fine establishment if you've been born, raised, educated, married and lived your entire life in the local area, but given the rude reception we received from a lady there, having stumbled in when lost on 'funfair day;' whether seeking to apply for a membership or not, outsiders can expect to be viewed with contempt and treated as though they're casing the joint with a faint hum of 'blue moon' ...

A friendly and well-run sailing club offering dinghy and cruiser sailing for all ages and abilities. Spectacular location on the river Stour and great views from the club room. Members only but well worth joining.

Excellent venue. Members & Guests only. Excellent views from clubroom panning from Needles ~ Hengistbury ~ Wick (up river Stour). Junior training by club is excellent. Good food with the lovely view is difficult to better.
