A wonderful rural oasis in suburbia. Pity the cricket programme has been abandoned. The convenient pubs and the station just 12 miles from central London make this a lovely green and pleasant spot.
One of the most amazing and friendly bunch of people running the oldest neighborhood cricket club house in the UK. The club house has remained unchanged for decades. It's rare to see such community feeling these days.
Great little cricket ground. Pavilion a good size if a little dated. Wicket played very well. Definitely a batsmen's wicket when we played. Only real downfall is spending a lot of time searching for the ball as no fencing on the boundaries.
