Chipstead Football Club

Nice ground in the middle of nowhere, plenty of parking. A comfortable clubhouse, small main stand and refreshment cabin.

Nice friendly club. Parking difficult if busy. No hot food in ground on my visit but some in bar outside the ground. Good seating. Real ale in bar.

Good facilities, with a friendly welcome in the club house and we got to watch a good game of football

Had a trial for Sporting 50 FC here in the summer. They wanted to sign me but I wasn’t happy to wear a baby pink battenberg style strip and be paid in Pukka Pies. They kept talking about another much superior club called AFC Whyteleafe too, seemed obsessed.

Enjoyed my visit here. First of all, the ground is situated in a unique rural setting and had a nice walk getting here from Hooley. Secondly Chipstead's opposition was Guernsey, from the Channel Islands, which added to the experience. Thirdly KO was at 1pm.
