I passed my test earlier this year and couldn't have done it without John, amazing instructor and a great person. He takes learning at your pace but always pushes you enough so that you come back from every lesson feeling you've developed your skills as a driver. Very understanding and positive guy who really boosts your confidence, can't recommend him enough!

Great guy, his teaching methods are exceptional. Been with him for a few months and can't recommend anyone more. Patient and talks you through where you went wrong and helps you understand how to change it. Good prices and learning fast with john Would recommend 100%

I’ve had John as my driving instructor for 5 months now and I can’t recommend him more. Enthusiastic, supportive and encouraging as a teacher who respects students comfort zones when driving whilst actively pushing me to develop my driving skills. Very friendly and patient, I am so pleased I am learning to drive with Chippy school of motoring.

Rips people off, takes too long to put people through tests. Drives half of the lessons himself, pretends he’s booked a test, takes the cash for it and cancels two days before saying you’re not ready (kept the money as well!) says a lot about the instructor, 2 years of lessons at 4 hours per week and you’re still not ready??? Reported him to the driving standards agency. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
