Carus Green Golf Course & Driving Range

Visited Carus Green golf today, good driving range and helpfull professional golf staff, who offer teaching with good technical aids. The clubhouse restaurant offers good food and has good views over the golf course to the lakeland fells offering a great place for lunch. The golf course looks good. I would certainly recommend a visit for golf or food.

Took my mother in here for a birthday lunch. The staff were amazing attentive and friendly, couldn’t of been better. We all received our lunch at the same time and it also was excellent, a big thank you to all concerned for a lovely afternoon out!

The staff at this place are amazing but Shannon is absolutely exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us out in so many ways when our car broke down just as we arrived for our weekend away. If you like a friendly face, some one who will find you a way, she's your person! As well as this, the room was great and well decorated, the big hot powerful shower was super and the bathroom modern and spacious! The food was good too for evening and breakfast. Free parking and secure lodge.

Worst Christmas party I've ever been to (and I've been to a LOT!) For some stupid reason they decided to show the England football match and the noise was deafening - you either go to a Christmas party or you go to a football match. They crammed too many people/tables in and the staff couldn't cope - we must have had about 20minutes/half an hour between each course, we didn't get our sweet till after 10pm. There was no coffee and the food was mediocre. Really poor value for money.
