Fantastic club with even better coaches. My son has been going to Canterbury Strength for years. He thoroughly enjoys it and has a real passion for this amazing sport while also improving his overall health and fitness. The coaches are so professional and knowledgeable and super supportive and encouraging. Everything you could want from a fitness club/gym. It's like a weight lifting family and we love it! Totally recommend Canterbury Strength.

This is a really supportive, friendly and inclusive weightlifting club. As a complete beginner I have felt that I’ve had really excellent teaching and training on weightlifting techniques and have been encouraged, and really supported to push myself to see what I can achieve. If you are curious at all about trying this sport- please don’t hesitate to join!

Everyone is very supportive and accepting. Coaches are fantastic at giving cues to help with form. They are also very patient with every ability. I always feel they are truly there to help us all improve, work to our goals, and spread the fantastic sport of Olympic Weightlifting. I could not recommend them enough.

A wonderful club, with a real good vibes attitude. It is always a pleasure to train with everyone. The coaches are extremely kind and take time to explain everything and spend time with everyone. If you’re near Canterbury and want to train forget the classic idea of going to the gym and come and see what’s happening @Canterbury Strength you won’t regret it !!!

Amazing club! I joined when i moved back home and i love training here, all the coaches are very knowledgable and are willing to help. The atmosphere is friendly and all members are quick to support you if you're lifting heavy. If you're looking to start weightlifting, I would 100% recommend this club! (not biased :) )
