After taking a long break from playing music, I started piano lessons with Rory. I was quite nervous about starting as an adult learner but Rory's teaching style is great! He helps you work through sticking points by breaking things down and his musical knowledge is really evident. I'd recommend him for learners at every level.

Rory worked with me for 3 years and I came with barely any piano knowledge. During these 3 years I managed to pass with high grades the ABRSM grades 2 and 3 and learned how to better prepare my piano learning. I came to Rory shortly after I had moved from Hong Kong to the UK. Although I had got Grade 8 already, but the foundation was not quite solid at the time, and I would like to work on that. Bit of a long review but- I was a piano student with Rory for 4 years, and in that time managed to complete my practical grades 4-7, recently having to stop because I’ll be moving away for uni after Summer.
