Nice club but has a clique/attitude problem. I was part of a learn to row course a few years back which was great fun until one of the outings substituted another learner with a more veteran rower due to illness. This veteran rower would constantly insult and shout at me while I was learning, as apparently the idea of someone not being great at rowing from the start was alien to him. It's the busiest and most friendly town club on the Cam; very welcoming with excellent resources.

Joined recently, the induction and learn to row courses are run really well with the coach's being very good at teaching all types and ranges of ability. In general a very friendly group of people. Edit: I've been rowing with them for nearly 9 months, they are a brilliant group of people, willing to help you progress where you want to. Started with this club years ago. A very friendly and welcoming squad for coxed and rowers, novices and veterans alike. Arguably the best club house and equipment of all the town clubs.

Great club to be in. I've rowed with other clubs in the past, and this one is by far the most organised and active ones I've been a member of. Plenty of races all year round, and everyone is encouraged to participate. Very well equipped in terms of facilities, and different activities all week, from weight and ergo sessions, to circuits and outings.
