  • When I started learning with Claire I was a complete beginner in my 50s. I couldn't really read music and knew nothing of theory. When Claire asked me what I wanted to learn I said "Bohemian Rhapsody". Instead of laughing at me, she said "let's find a way to do that". We love how Suzuki method works compared with the Traditional method because you learn with your child together and it promotes enjoyment and fun learning to listen rather than gearing up for assessments and endless scales that can crush their enjoyment at a young age.   • Claire is a natural with children and she’s brilliant at motivating them. Our son started piano lessons with her when he was 4.5 years old and we think the Suzuki method suits him very well. Because of the way lessons are structured, it was easy for our boy to take Claire’s advise “you have to practice only on the days you eat” to the word.
