Fantastic riding school. Charlotte is a wonderful instructor who tells the rider about the horses / ponies personality if they are riding a different horse for the first time. Fantastic riding school, my daughter has been riding at Butterlands around 18 months, lives for her Wednesday lesson with Charlotte who is an amazing teacher, explains every single thing to them and why they are doing it. The pony’s & horses are so well cared for with amazing little personalities. The indoor arena is a bonus in the winter and the views from the outdoor arena are absolutely stunning. You won’t be disappointed with Butterlands.

My daughter started riding at Butterlands approx 6 years ago as a novice rider ... she has now become a confident rider and jumper, and I can't thank Charlotte enough . She really does push her to get the best out of her lessons and helps if she is stuggling with anything. Having ridden at other schools in the area for over 25 years, I was massively impressed with Butterlands, Charlotte and the horses. I’ve learnt so much over the last 2 years here and the horses are not your typical riding school plodders. Lessons aren’t the usual ‘follow behind’ each other. We are encouraged to do our own thing along side the focus of the lesson. Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh and the views are amazing!

Amazing riding school with fantastic teachers. My daughter absolutely loves her lessons and is learning so much in a fun and friendly environment with Charlotte and looks forward to her lesson every week. Beautiful views, really well looked after and the horses are perfect and friendly. My daughter also enjoys pony days and mornings at Butterlands with both Charlotte and Becky. Thank you Butterlands 😊
