Bristol Riding School

My daughter has been riding here since September 2022 and loves it. We have both absolutely fallen in love with riding thanks to the amazing staff and horses/ponies here. Carrie and Amanda are brilliant teachers and really know how to get the best out of the riders. All the staff and helpers are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Awful riding stables, two of my children were riding here. Classes are too big so children spend more time waiting in line than actually learning to ride. Staff were so rude and just screamed at the children for the entirety of the lessons. Ponies are dirty, and move on command with a large whip for encouragement. Car park is dangerous and not enough parking as the lesson sizes are too large for the facility grounds. Lessons are cheap so you get what you pay for I suppose.

I’ve been riding here for a year now after time out and it’s brilliant! Carrie, Fatima and all the other staff are helpful and always kind and the lessons have have helped me improve my riding and confidence massively.

My son has been riding here for 3 years now. And I started back riding after over 25 years out of the saddle. All of the staff are incredible, Carrie, Amanda, Fatima, Lesley, and everyone else. Professional, hardworking and extremely friendly. It’s a fabulous place for children and adults starting out riding and developing skills. My three children LOVE riding at BRS, wonderful, animated and enthusiastic instructors combined with gentle, sweet natured and well cared for horses and ponies 🥰, great value, friendly families and staff, amazing helpers and a super service 🌟. Thank you BRS, highly recommend.
