I really recommend this group. My 8 year old has been going for nearly 3 years and my 5 year old has just started too. They both love it and come back buzzing. It's a mixture of games, independent moves and partner work which keeps the class varied and fast-paced, plus there are regular gradings where they can achieve their coloured belts and ribbons as they improve. My son and daughter (11 and 9) really enjoy Daren's Aikedo classes. He is a talented teacher who makes every lesson fun whilst they learn how to move their bodies with agility, speed and balance.

Daren and the team at Bristol North Aikido Dojo have an amazing way with our young kids (9 and 5). The kids enjoy the play (warm up) time before and after and getting down to the serious side too of self-defence. The kids can't wait for their next grading and moving up the ranks.
