Take it for what it is. It has a very municipal feel to it. Its a really nice layout with some tricky holes and some short par 4s. Tee boxes are like playing out of the rough and we didn't find a flat green out there, every one is like a dome. Other then that good for the price.

At only £15 a round mid week it's worth a visit. Greens were good. Rest of the course was good with only a couple of untidy bits. Nice food at a great price, burger chips and a pint only £5. Friendly and polite staff. Would play again.

Great course, in superb condition. Only criticism was that some joker set out some rotating 360° sprinklers on holes 7 and 10 and we took a right soaking. Thankfully weather was brilliant and we soon dried off.

Great course, very challenging. Can get very wet, but they are working on the drainage. Took this shot of the 12th last winter.

Don't think members are required to book tee times. Other places that used to operate in this antiquated way were forced to introduce a booking system after reopening post lockdown in order to ensure groups were a minimum time apart. I guess this place is above the rules? Also means you can book in as a visitor and end up having a group 30 seconds in front of you. Also have a laugh reading the maximum occupancy sign in the bar after your round if it's busy in there. Then recoil at the London ...
