An opportunity arose to visit St. Mary’s Field whilst in the area, so I went along to see Bridport Reserves v. Dorchester Sports. It’s a very friendly club, and the volunteers were very helpful and welcoming. Entry is good value at the level they are at £3 for adults. The ground is of a good standard with standing cover on one side and seated over on the other. It has a big clubhouse which can cater for other events. I would highly recommend a visit to any Groundhopper that is in the area.

Up from Falmouth for a cup match, home supporters were friendly and welcoming despite us beating them 6-0. Nice little ground with all the usual facilities - made for a good day out.
