Briar Dunn Dog Training

I attended Briar's online classes which were amazing and meant I was able to benefit from his expertise even though I'm not local. Brair is fun, knowledgeable and an incredible advocate for dogs and science based training. Me and my dog attended tricks and rally both taught clearly and with a creative syllabus. He's accessible to all and ensures that all learners achieve their goals. 100% recommend 🐾

Briar is an absolutely amazing dog trainer. He has helped train my dog both in a one to one setting as an assistance dog, and we attend weekly classes with him. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He uses positive reinforcement methods throughout his classes, nothing is expected of anyone except to learn and have fun. Briar is fantastic, I take both my dogs to his training classes (which are fantastic and really affordable) and the confidence of my foreign rescue dog has really improved as a result. Briar is really knowledgeable about dog behaviour and is really committed to keeping that knowledge up to date and expanding it, something I think is so important when working with a dog trainer.

Briar supported me in finding a lovely puppy and has been helping me to train her up since she first came home, so six months on, I now have a very well behaved (when not totally over excited) teenager. You can tell that Briar puts a lot of care into continuing to learn all he can about dogs and other animals, and he is keen to pass on all of his knowledge. I thoroughly recommend Briar if you would like help to understand and train your dog in a fun and positive environment.

We moved to Briar Dunn Dog training because we were looking for a positive reinforcement trainer who could help us with both pet obedience training and our beginnings in competitive obedience. Briar has been amazing at truly understanding any problems we have and showing us positive ways to change or encourage behaviour. He’s been a great mentor for me starting competitive dog sports which can feel like a minefield!
