A chequered history for this club , with numerous owners and closure at one point twenty odd years ago . It’s past is behind it now though and here lies a survivor with a course fitting . I suppose the signature hole is the third with a downhill shot to the green over the pond . Definitely worth a bash . If you’re an animal lover there’s a good chance the herd of local deer may be around too

Greens really long, full of damage. They have let buggies and trolleys on the course so it has damaged the grass with lots of areas basically mud. Couldn’t find a bit of grass to play off of in some areas. Why are buggies allowed out in the middle of winter? The edges of greens are trashed through trolley traffic. Bunkers absolutely unplayable, weeds, ruined by rain, no effort to rake them after rain. Wasn’t happy at all. Staff friendly and clubhouse sufficient, certainly wouldn’t play it aga...

Great course, great staff. Getting a booking at a weekend is nearly impossible, unless you are a society and are OK having a slightly later tee time. This is testament to how popular it is here. A good variation of holes to test everyone.

A very challenging course. We played here as a Society and the bacon rolls for breakfast were excellent but as our first tee time was 10.32 and the kitchen shut at 3.45 most of us missed out on a meal afterwards.

Lovely course, it's one of my favourite. Definitely on the challenging side, I feel if you're a casual golfer you may struggle a little on some of these holes. Greens are fast but people weren't sorting their divots which was annoying. Can get a little too busy and a round can easily take 5 hours but if you've got the time then it's worth a visit.
