Brendon Manor Riding Stables

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Family of 4 ( 2 adults and an 8 and 11 year old) with zero riding experience. Super friendly staff, strict enough to make sure you are safe, our 2 boys were very well looked after and kept on tethers at all times, although they let my eldest off at the end of the ride when he had gained his confidence. Our 2 instructors (Lorna and a young girl, who's name unfortunately I can't remember but who is just about to go to uni to study veterinary medicine) ...

Great experience. Communication was quick and easy and the ride out went across some fabulous scenery and landscapes across the exmoor national park.

A great experience, massive thanks to Charlie, Chris and Evie You put four first timers at our ease, took us for a proper ride (other stables just wanted to take us round a paddock) . Very professional, very safe but relaxed and good company on the way round too. One of our party was very very nervous and you relaxed him and got him to thoroughly enjoy himself. We all agreed it was the stand out experience of our holiday so thank you very much. Richard

Lovely friendly horses; lovely friendly people! Despite the time of year it was a wet and chilly day, so Lorna took me on a more sheltered hack. The scenery was gorgeous, through the beautiful ancient oak woods and down to the river at Watersmeet. I'm an intermediate level rider and my horse Ram was a perfect gent and a delight to ride. I plan to come back for a moorland hack and I would thoroughly recommend these stables.
