What a brilliant teacher Jaya is. The time flew by and we learned so much, it was just a shame to go. I shall be using the "new" skills I have in all my cooking but most definitely will be cooking the dishes we made again and again at home. If there was one criticism it was that Jaya has not written a recipe book yet. I hope she does, she should and I will be first in line to buy it. Highly recommend anyone to try this.

I went for a 1-2-1 cookery class on 24th August and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Over the course of 3.5 hours we made a variety of things including breads, a starter, a main and a side. Each one was delicious and I will definitely be making them again. Would certainly recommend this experience for anyone looking to up their cur...

The day started with an introduction of the spices that we would use that day. Smelling and tasting them is part of the course, together with Jaya’s tips on preparing your ow...

Jaya was an absolute joy sharing stories as well as imparting her amazing spice knowledge and cooking skills. The course was relaxed and easy to follow, with everyone preparing their own food. I would highly recommend it. I will be cooking more Indian dishes with confidence. Will be going back!

We had a great, fun time learning how to cook 3 dishes, 2 styles of Indian breads and dips all within one course. There were 3 of us in our private lesson (which our wives bought us for an Xmas gift). Jaya had put so much thought into our menu, as we were all of a mixed ability in terms of cooking ability. I am from a family that ran 3 Indian restaurants in Surrey, and I certainly learned how to do it. (I was never allowed in the kitchen as was front of house). Definitely would recommend t...
