Bowmen Of Danesfield - Archers Of West Somerset

We did a 5 weeks Beginners Course which Don had given me for Christmas and it was absolutely excellent. First two weeks were with just the bow but then on week three we put the sights on the bows which was a whole new ball game. I was absolutely useless but their patience and encouragement were fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend this as a fun activity and there are loads of opportunities to take this further if you want. Thanks guys, we loved every minute of it. Liz and Don

I have returned to the B of D club and introduced my partner to the challenge of archery which she has totally fallen for. The club is run efficiently and the members are always happy to help with any issues. The facilities and location are excellent even in the winter months. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone of any age with any interest in this excellent and noble sport.

I have been taking part in one of the clubs' beginner courses and it has been a great experience. A lovely group of people who are obviously passionate about their sport and very happy and willing to help others learn. Thoroughly recommended!

After trying archery on a weekend away, I found Bowman of Danesfield offering the beginners course. I work shifts and wasn’t able to make every week, but, they were flexible and I was able to postpone a couple of weeks and carry on from where I left off. Would highly recommend Bowman of Danesfield after completing their beginners course. They have been so helpful and fun teaching my two girls and husband archery. We have now joined this wonderful club and look forward to attending every week.
