24-hour Postural Care is essential for people with limited movement to promote comfort and prevent the development of life-limiting, complex body shape changes. This on-demand course introduces the key principles and current research around the delivery of 24-hour Postural Care for people who have limited movements whether transient (rehabilitation after a stroke or chronic). It particularly focuses on the lying posture.

Occasionally, she ties on her trainers and runs jogs in a vague attempt to counteract her love for Salt ‘n Vinegar crisps, hummus and all things carbohydrate.
Sarah Clayton (BSc, PGCE) CEO Simple Stuff Works Sarah is passionate about all things postural care. Sounds dull but it turns out that her passion translates into highly contagious enthusiasm. She has developed a range of accredited training courses accessible to health, social care and education practitioners.
Sarah has four children, works full-time and can regularly be found wearing her jumper inside out.
You are able to work through this 'On-demand' course at your own pace. There is no deadline to complete, however, in order to receive a CPD certificate you will have to complete the course within 4 weeks of the start date. If you will require an extension, please contact us.
No, you do not need to complete the course in one session. You can work through the course at your own pace, pause and return when you are able, your progress will be saved. In order to return to the course, please use the 'View and manage your order' link from your 'Order Confirmation' email.
No, once a booking is made only the person who registered can access the course. If you know someone who would benefit from completing the course, please ask them to create their own booking or forward the request to training@bornattherighttime.com

Yes. Once you have completed the course you will be able to download a certificate. However, in order to receive the CPD certificate you will need to submit the required components by the deadline date. These will be outlined on the learning page. We will then request your certificate from the CPD Service. This can take up to 6 weeks. If you require the certificate sooner, please email admin@bornattherighttime.com
