The headquarters of the the BMFA, which is the governing body for all model aeroplane flyers in the UK. It has a brilliant flying site for all types of model aircraft, including a "hard circle" for Control Line racing. Camping, with good toilets and showers is available. Best to ring if you wish to visit as sometimes it is pre-booked for private club events.

Fantastic place to fly and enjoy for everyone in all types of model flying. Only gave 4 stars as the noise and drone of generators on the campsite was not acceptable and very inconsiderate. I see charging points have been installed for recharging batteries etc around the main building and is a brilliant idea .....please can management encourage portable solar panel recharging for camping units on your campsite area and stop the use of noisy / polluting generators, thank you.

Attended the BMFA Centenary Exhibition today. It is a fantastic portrayal of some of the history of aeromodelling over the last 100 years. Exhibits include aircraft, engines and propulsion systems, radio control equipment, and more. Very nostalgic to someone like me, and well worth a visit. Well done BMFA staff !

The Headquarters and flying facilities for the BMFA which is the leading UK organisation for model flying. Superb runway and excellent infrastructure make this a must visit for any serious model flyer . Many excellent events are held here during the year and full information can be had on the BMFA website.

Brilliant place for all flyers to meet. Manny from BMFA and his team of dedicated volunteers have made this place awesome. Well worth a visit; it’s amazing! Facilities are good. More than enough parking for all. There are two runways(one long and one slightly shorter) perfect for all types of planes. Space for control line and enough space for heli flyer too. One other thing to note, is the camping site located in the same complex. Great place!
