John had my well loved instruments in today for servicing. He was very thorough and took time to explain what he had found and acted upon. Very impressed with his work....

This is a lovely shop with really helpful and friendly staff. They helped me out with a new saxophone mouthpiece in an hour of need for a highly competitive price. Highly recommended.

I emailed on Friday evening about servicing my flute, which hadn't been looked it in about 20 years! He got back to me straight away and I took my flute in on the Saturday. He gave it a huge clean and sorted out all the issues, providing a breakdown of all the work done. I picked it up at the end of the day and it is like having a new flute! The difference it has made is amazing and it was a reasonable price for all the work undertaken. Thoroughly recommend!

I bought a Bauhaus tenor sax hoping to take up playing tenor again, but couldn't "get on" with the instrument. John serviced and repaired the Bauhaus, sorting many faults, and encouraged me to try again - what a difference! I can only recommend Blue Note very highly, great service and encouragement.

Amazing service with a smile; I cannot recommend this shop enough. I took in a very poorly flute (ignored in the damp for too long) with no hope of good repair. John not only repaired it very quickly but also restored it to a good condition (both audible and visible), which was totally unexpected. The service was friendly, kind, knowledgeable and skilled. John understood how sentimental the instrument is to me and his personal touch shone through! Thank you ever so much, John!
