Blackwell Games Edinburgh

This games shop used to have an amazing stock of any board game or RPG you could think of- the last few months it has had very limited stock. Not sure if they're changing directions with the games shop to be more limited/commercial, but it is unfortunately no longer the best board game shop in Edinburgh.

Friendly and informative advice - went in with some criteria for a gift I was looking for and given a few options that all really fit the bill!

Brilliant, well stocked bookshop with an amazingly comprehensive games section downstairs. There is also an arts section with various mediums and paints, canvases etc. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, giving great advice and recommendations if requested. Definitely recommended for any artists, readers or gamers!

Really good selection of games - tabletop, boardgame, figures and accessories. While there's plenty of familly and strategic boardgames they have few (no) wargames on offer. Staff are helpful if approached but otherwise leave you alone (a good thing). Prices generally at MSRP - not many bargains to be had unfortunately.
