Blackburn Golf Club

Just been to a 50’th birthday party and the function room was busy but the bar staff are the main problem there. 4 staff on the bar which is probably enough but all concentrating on one area of the bar (top area) and totally ignoring the other and looking back and sniggering. Absolute joke of a function room. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Had 1 drink and waited for 15 minutes and asked one of the bar staff for a drink and was ignored and went on serving other people so I thought enough is...

Really nicely laid out golf course. A little of something for most mid to high handicap players. Very well maintained all round with exceptional greens for February! The staff at the course and the other players I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Definitely on my radar for a revisit later this year.

My first outing at this golf club and course. I was very impressed with the warm atmosphere and friendly attention of the club's staff and members. After a delicious snack in the club house I tackled the actual course. I am an hobbyist golfer and play for fun and I found the course quite challenging to say the least. Nevertheless, the next time I will be more prepared. An excellent club and course to visit in Blackburn. Give it a try, highly recommended.

First time at Blackburn gc today, friendly pro and and the few members we saw, nice course in good condition, some interesting holes, some you can have a blast at and some you have to position it well off the tee, we had heard of the 8th and it definitely gets you blowing at bit, excellent value and we will deffo play here again.

Very well laid out and challenging course. Stamina is key as the course has some hills to attack. Fairways and greens well looked after and lots of challenges on each hole.
