  • Lovely location. Brilliant coaches

  • Had a real laugh here a group of us went on an introduction to canoeing and got very wet Instructors were great and well organised

  • We sat on the terrace to have our meal....no problem with gluten free....very busy but you don't mind waiting because there is so much to see....launches and narrow boats coming and going...you hold your breath as they negotiate the bend in front of you!...tourists rushing around to get the best shot while the train crosses the aquiduct in the middle distance....Bird life everywhere...ducks Canada geese. Herons. Grebes and every variety of small birds and pigeons and their funny ways....ever...

  • Great club but don't follow Google Maps and go into Pig Lane...because the club is not in Pig Lane..it's at the crest of a hill on the main road and down a bumpy dirt track that is easily missed...There is a club sign set back at the start of the lane.

  • The Canoe Club is on the East side of the river. There is NO ACCESS from Twyford Road /Twyford Bury Lane on the West side as the footbridge indicated by Googlemaps has NO PUBLIC ACCESS. Please see directions on the club website, "Find Us" page for access from the A1060 Hallingbury Road.
