Friendly staff, has a good selection of beers that are very reasonably priced got to be one of the cheapest pints in town

Went here for a reception following a christening. The place has a very traditional and nostalgic feel about it, reminds me of most working men's or sports club I attended growing up. The bar overlook the bowling green, great for if your into the sport. The staff are friendly and the bar isn't too costly. It has ample parking, but the entrance is situated on the adjacent street, not Bishop road, which along with the one-way system on green fields rd, can make it difficult to locate.
