Big Green Surf School

I had my first individual surfing lesson with Adam. It was the best experience! Loved it! So enjoyable, had so much fun, great advice & learnt so much! I thought the price was very reasonable & the best money I’ve ever spent! Thank you ❤️

We did two surf lessons here. The teachers Dale and Adam were both great! The gear (boards & wetsuits) were in good condition and included to the price of the lesson. Big recommendation 🙏

Really disapointed - had booked a kayak session & arranged my day/week around the timings they suggested, only to be let down at the last minute. They decided to bump my booking, as they got a later group booking for SUP, that paid more. Didn't bother to phone me in advance, just let me turn up - then acted like there was no booking, before suggesting I go in a kayak whilst they teach their SUP group. Not impressed. Wish I'd booked with someone more reliable.

My friend and I had a surf lesson both as complete beginners and absolutely loved it. Our instructor Petr was amazing- really friendly, gave great advice/tips and clearly passionate about surfing which lead to a great experience for us. We both had so much fun and can't wait to come back!

I used Big Green Surf School on 2 occasions during my stay at Crantock and they're fantastic. Prices aren't extortionate and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Naturally, you get some health and safety advice (stay between the black and white chequered flags when surfing, etc) but I did get some excellent advice for paddleboarding. Just make sure you have plans when bringing a lot of stuff to the beach (bag, clothes, coats, etc). Unfortunately they don't have anywhere to keep that stuff....
