Nice setting with benches around the boundary with some picnic tables.
There is a basic bar that sells some alcoholic drinks and snacks.
Very limited parking, so advise to get early or park elsewhere.
The turnoff the main road is a narrow lane the looks like a private drive that can be easily missed.
If you enjoy cricket then there are evenings and weekends you'll enjoy this place for that. Rest of the year it's a mono culture of grass with few insects or other wildlife. Perhaps having some big wildflower areas would be nice? Even having a few flower beds would help.
Quite difficult to find but once you're there it's a gorgeous setting. I was there to play a boules match. The facilities are excellent and the grounds are very well maintained. We were made to feel very welcome and the post match sandwiches were very nice. Just be careful on leaving, both times I've been Harry the Hedgehog has run up the narrow drive in front of us! 😀
