His passion for music is clear, and he teaches with just the right amount of focus, positivity and encouragement to keep him engaged and motivated. Ben is a fantastic piano teacher. From knowing nothing about the piano to becoming very familiar and confident in both playing and theory sides of the instrument. He’s helped me vastly by teaching me all to do with playing the piano. From writing music to piano techniques, I couldn’t recommend Ben more!

Ben is an excellent guitar teacher & very patient with my teenage son. He will teach formal grades aswell as music the pupil likes personally. He has also helped with buying new equipment which if you're not a musical parent is great.

I started taking guitar lessons from Ben and he has been extremely patient and helpful with my clumsy efforts to play. I recently switched to piano because of an injury to my hand that makes it harder to hold my guitar's neck and now enjoy my piano lessons with Ben just as much as the guitar. Ben is a great music teacher. He taught my ukulele group for a year until, unfortunately for us, he moved back up to Yorkshire. The music he gave us to play was always interesting and pitched just right for our mixed abilities. He helped us to develop individually and as a group. Our sessions were always good fun.
