My two boys have played in the mini/junior section of the club for the last few years. My eldest is in his 6th season with the club and my youngest his 5th. My son is not the most sporty but since starting tag rugby 4 years ago and then moving to contact he has come on leaps and bounds. His confidence has increased and he looks forward to playing on a Sunday. The coaching is spot on and ensures all the team partake in games and training. The club is friendly and welcoming and as parents we have made some good friends. If unsure I would advise turning up Sunday mornings with sons and daughters and let them have a go, they will enjoy it.

Under 13’s have Great team spirit, welcoming new players in the 19/20 season. Excellent coaching by dedicated coaches, the right balance of discipline & fun, everyone is valued & supported and gets a game. They might not be the biggest club, but they play well above their limit. Looking forwards to see the team grow in the coming season.

Barton RUFC has a great family environment, competitive 1st team league, social 2nds, mini junior section, O2 touch rugby and a patrons membership. Our home, Holland Sports Club continues to improve with the support from our members and sponsors. A great place to socialise, watch sky sports with friendly staff.
