Situated a short walk from the town centre in an area which also includes the town's rugby club. The ground itself is well facilitated with a three-quarters cover down one side of the pitch and a stand on the other. There's a clubhouse inside the ground and food and hot drinks etc served via a hatch. Free parking at the ground did appear to perhaps be an issue, although having arrived by train - a 20 minute walk way - I couldn't really say.
We were with an away visiting football team, when we arrived everyone was very helpful. But as the match progressed with our team beating theirs, the fans around us were getting very verbal, not just the younger adults but 3 very elderly men. They lost.. But at least some of the home fans were really nice, saying the better team won. So overall I would probably go back to the ground again
Great facility, really nice staff. Held a birthday party here in November. Then booked two more this year. Dj and food all sorted out so we didn't have to lift a finger.
