Great atmosphere and reasonable priced drinks, staff are friendly and sociable

Lovely place to go and watch some local cricket. Free parking, can get refreshments. Toilet facilities. Plenty of space for social distancing. Great scenery and peaceful location.

Great refurb since last visit. Nice and friendly and great selection of beers. There was a beer festival on too, but unfortunately, I was driving. It is an annual thing, featuring guest ales that are sponsored by locals and local businesses. Great way to draw on the punters and raise funda for the ongoing Cricket teams that play out of Ashcombe. Sky sports available too, so somewhere in Cheddleton to have few pints and watch the big (or small) match. We lost our darts match though😁

Possibly the best views from a cricket pitch anywhere around here. The bar has friendly staff and good beer. Kids also welcome.
