Honestly what can I say.. wow! After spending a fortune on other dog trainers/behaviourists and getting no where we felt we would never change our dogs aggressive/guarding behaviour + nervousness with strangers until.. we met Jayne! Jayne spent over 3hours with us, in our home assessing our dog and then taking us on a walk with her 2 dogs.. she gave us the tools to use and within a week ( not even that) we had a completely different dog! Bella wasn’t walked with other dogs for over a year ...

We would highly recommend Ashclyst dog training without a doubt! Jayne was amazing with our little Buddy the cockapoo. Jayne has been a godsend in giving us a better understanding of Barley and managing her behaviour. We now have a far calmer and happier companion through boundary setting and consistent rules. Where Barley would once bark insistently and jump up at the door to anyone that came up the drive or walk past the house we now know how to deal with her thanks to Jayne’s expertise.

A massive thank you to Jayne. You have changed our lives for the best. Luna is a completely different dog now. So well behaved in public with humans and other dogs. She no longer chases cars and it has become a joy to go for a walk instead of stress and anxiety. Her behaviour in our home has massively improved. Luna sleeps in her own room and sleeps through the night now. Jayne provided a very professional and friendly service. She gave us back confidence and helped us train Luna the right wa...

Olive bounced through life in an invisible tumble dryer. Yet at 6 months old and weighing 66lbs, excitable behaviours that were once cute(ish!) were rapidly becoming problematic. Her elation at seeing people, dogs, crows, leaves…everything… saw her inadvertently knocking people over, persisting to play with dogs that didn’t want to be played with and frightening people in the park. I was losing my trust in her and it was heartbreaking. Jayne from Ashclyst helped me transform my relationship ...
